How You Can Help
Here are a few ways you can offer your assistance to the CCC Charity Ball:
- Donations: We will be happy to accept donations on the evening of the Charity Ball, or in lieu of your attendance. We accept checks payable to Carolina Cross Connection. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and PayPal payments are also accepted. See Online Giving for more information.
- Auction Items: We are always grateful for quality items donated for our Silent Auction. If possible, please send items to the CCC office or notify us before the event, so that we may advertise them on this site.
Please keep in mind that this is a formal event; items that are second-rate will not be included in the auction. Here is a list of suggested auction items:
Gift cards or gift certificates
Gift certificates for services (pedicure, weekend getaway, etc.)
Personal electronics
Sports memorabilia, particularly pertaining to sports of this region
Original artwork, pottery, crafts, etc.
Jewelry
Antiques
Power tools/tool sets
Outdoor goods (grill, hammock, outdoor fireplace, etc.)
Volunteer services (lawn care, cookie-of-the-month, etc.) - Volunteers: We will need many volunteers to help make our Charity Ball a success, including folks to man the registration table, greeters, and people to help set up and clean up. Please call us at 704-735-4257 if you would like to volunteer your services for the Charity Ball.
Past Charity Ball Events
The 7th Annual Charity Ball, held on February 12, 2008, was a great success! Held at the DoubleTree Guest Suites in Charlotte, NC, the event brought in more than 110 attendees representing CCC Board members, former summer staff folks, campers, and others who were simply eager to support and learn more about the ministry of Carolina Cross Connection.
