Carolina Cross Connection's Charity Ball 2012 March 31, 2012 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM Grace on Brevard in uptown Charlotte 219 South Brevard Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 $50 per ticket Carolina Cross Connection is putting away the work clothes for one evening and having a night on the town in the Queen City! Join us in uptown Charlotte for a night of dining, dancing, bidding and fun at the 2012 Carolina Cross Connection Charity Ball. This formal event (black tie optional) helps financially support the thousands of youth serving hundreds of North Carolina families with free home repairs and wheelchair ramps. This year’s ball will be held at the historic Grace on Brevard. An historic, former church nestled between the towering skyline of Charlotte, Grace is rich with history, design and great views and is a popular space for weddings, special events and catered dinners. There’s plenty of room for dancing and viewing the 2012 Silent Auction items, a featured part of the evening! The CCC auction has featured vacation houses, cabins, artwork, sport tickets, and memorabilia as well as one of a kind CCC camp and service memorabilia. So come prepared to bid! The evening begins at 7:00 pm with a reception and a sneak peek at the auction items. Catered dinner and dessert follows at 8:00 pm. Dancing and bidding starts after dinner until 11:00 pm. Downtown parking is provided next to Grace on Brevard compliments of event sponsors. This is a formal event, black tie optional. Adults only, please. This event is drug- and alcohol-free. Space is limited. There are only 150 tickets available for this special event so don’t wait to RSVP and purchase tickets!

Tickets are $50 each, or a table for eight is $360. Individual tickets may be purchased in full or for a deposit of $25 each, with the balance paid at the door.

Silent Auction

While we do receive some funding from your tickets, the Silent Auction is a vital part of our fundraising for the year and we are very grateful for quality items donated for it! If possible, please send items to the CCC office or notify us before the event, so that we may advertise them. Bear in mind that this is a formal event; items that are second-rate will not be included in the auction. Auction items must be received no later than March 23, 2012. Here is a list of suggested auction items:

1. Gift cards or gift certificates
2. Gift certificates for services (pedicure, weekend getaway, etc.)
3. Personal electronics
4. Sports memorabilia, particularly pertaining to sports of this region
5. Original artwork, pottery, crafts, etc.
6. Jewelry
7. Antiques
8. Power tools/tool sets
9. Outdoor goods (grill, hammock, outdoor fireplace, etc.)
10. Volunteer services (lawn care, cookie-of-the-month, etc.)

Items for the auction can be dropped off at our office location or picked up by one of our volunteers or staff members. Our Carolina Cross Connection office is located at: 590 Allison Street NW, Concord, NC 28025.
