We always welcome the opportunity to inform more people about our mission to families in need in western North Carolina. Our hope is that out of these presentations, more people will participate as campers in CCC or support the ministry in other ways.
During a typical presentation, we will share about what to expect out of CCC, our promotional video, and our passion about this ministry. We can adapt our presentations to almost any setting, such as youth groups, congregations, missions fairs, civic groups, conferences, and other venues. We have presented to groups as small as five and as large as 5,000! We are very flexible about dates and times, especially during our "off-season" (Sept - April). All our presentations are free of charge!
Below are the various types of presenations we can provide. If you would like to find out more about these presentations and how you may request one, please contact ccc@carolinacrossconnection.org.

| During the off-season (September - April), Carolina Cross Connection goes out on the road, visiting church youth groups, and sharing a little about who we are and what we do through something called GET HOOKED! events. A GET HOOKED! event is an "interactive presentation," providing attendees with a real-life taste of CCC, including worship, games, testimonies, and a brief talk about CCC’s summer ministry. A free snack supper is included at most venues!
Some other benefits of a GET HOOKED! event include:
- Giving youth leaders a break from planning Sunday night youth programs.
- Providing a venue for getting connected with other youth groups in the area.
- Telling your youth about a unique summer missions opportunity in western North Carolina.
All youth, youth leaders, parents, and anyone else interested in CCC are welcome to attend these events. Be on the lookout for a GET HOOKED! in your area.

| We are eager to operate an exhibit booth for venues of any size. We have set up booths at small events, like local youth and missions conferences, and large events, such as the Youth Specialties National Youth Workers Convention. Our booths feature images of CCC camps and worksites, literature, DVD's, registration materials, and often give-away's.

The concept is quite simple: the CCC administration is able and willing to come to your area on a weekday to host a luncheon at a local restaurant. Any and all youth leaders would be invited, and CCC would pick up the bill for lunch! Following the meal, we would give a brief presentation about the ministry, hand out some literature, and answer any questions.
If you would like to co-host a YLL, here is all that we would need from you...
- Be back in touch with us with a date (or dates) that might work well, preferably Mon-Thurs, since that is when many youth leaders are available.
- Give us an idea of a good place to eat in your area - something good, not terribly expensive, and appealing for most folks. If the restaurant has a separate, quiet room that we could reserve, even better!
- Contact youth leaders, youth volunteers, pastors, or members from other churches in your area to let them know about the event, that lunch will be provided free of charge, and that it will be an opportunity to hear about a local summer missions opportunity for youth groups. Have them RSVP with you by a certain date, such as a week before the lunch.
- Give us a headcount a week ahead of time so we'll know what to expect and how to plan accordingly.
CCC will cover the food expenses, provide literature, and give a short, informal presentation about the ministry. Simple as that! Obviously, the more youth leaders we can speak to, the better, although we wouldn't be completely opposed to speaking to smaller groups.

We are always eager to speak at youth groups, Sunday morning church services, or mid-weed services. If possible, we would just ask that we may be able to show our promotional DVD video and allow for a Q&A time. |
The college folks and college graduates that lead our camps are exceptional young people who serve our campers, communities, and the Lord. Applicants must be high school graduates or older. These downloads require Adobe Reader to view and print.
