Carolina Cross Connection is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to providing home repairs to families in need, free of charge. In order to do this, we rely on donations from individuals, businesses, organizations, and churches.You can make a donation to Carolina Cross Connection in a number of different ways, for a number of different needs. No donation is too small or large; every bit helps! Donations do much more than keep CCC operating; they can provide directly for families in need, help keep camper costs low so that more people may attend, and more. We hope YOU will consider contributing to the ministry of Carolina Cross Connection. Here are some specific areas of need:
- Lumber, paint, fasteners, and other materials used on CCC worksites are always in high demand. We are grateful for the donation of these materials or for the money to pay for them.
- Our summer staff are required to raise approximately half of their salary. Download the Staff Partnership Form to make a contribution towards a staff member's partnerships for the coming summer.
- For many years, groups have been required to bring tools with them to camp. This can often be a large burden for some churches, and has perhaps hindered some from participating. To encourage more churches to participate and to relieve some of the strain of getting prepared to attend, CCC is currently work towards a "No Tools Required" policy. Safe, functional tools (or money to purchase them) are a big blessing for the ministry and for groups that want to participate.
- Our summer staff need vehicles that can be used during their preparation time between camp weeks, setting up projects, acquiring materials, and visiting people in the community. We are always in need of both (A) compact vehicles with good gas mileage and (B) larger delivery vehicles capable of hauling lumber and other building materials.
- We, of course, accept donations that are undesignated. These moneys received will enter into our "general fund," and will be distributed to areas of greatest need.
In return for your contribution, you will receive the joy and satisfaction of knowing that you have helped CCC provide for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of needy families in western North Carolina. All donations, whether physical or monetary, are tax-deductible. Finally, you will receive a subscription to "The Link," the CCC Newsletter.
You may also consider giving in honor or in memory of a friend or family member. This is a great alterative to traditional gift-giving for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, anniversaries, etc. We will send a card notifying the recipient or family of your gift.

Each summer, Carolina Cross Connection work teams go out to serve others, show God’s love, and perform a variety of projects for folks in need. While our focus is to minister to those families, we also want to ensure that our work is safe, functional, and protected. But even simple projects can be very costly, especially with recent rises in lumber prices. We want to continue providing quality work, and we need your help! The CCC Gift Catalog is a way for you to specifically sponsor projects and materials, large or small, and provide for real needs!
As a non-profit ministry, CCC is committed to offering our work to needy families free of charge. We are also committing to keeping our camper costs low, ensuring that only a small percentage of each camper fee, less than about $3, goes toward funding materials. Therefore, we rely greatly on individual contributions, groups, organizations, and businesses to fund the materials we use. We believe this form of financial giving is a tangible way that many people, not just our campers and employees, can serve others and support the ministry of CCC.

Every year, Carolina Cross Connection hosts and/or takes part in events to help raise funds and awareness for the ministry. Besides being quite enjoyable, these events are a help for CCC and the folks we serve.

- Carolina Cross Connection is NOT a United Way agency; however, we are able to receive fund through United Way. Contact United Way, and ask them to designate your contribution to Carolina Cross Connection.
- Some banks and organizations offer gift-matching programs. Just ask your bank or organization to find out whether or not Carolina Cross Connection would qualify for such a program.
